ATHENS, April 20
Hmsfifa Medical Centre of Excellence Dubai took part in the annual international football medicine conference in Greece, held from April 18 to 20, with the event drawing around 3,000 participants from 85 countries.
The annual Isokinetic Conference, regarded as one of the largest global gatherings in sports medicine for more than three decades, brings together leading specialists including sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, chiropractors, fitness coaches and sports science students to discuss the latest developments in sports science and advanced medical technology.

Dr. Mourad Ghrairi, director of the centre, and Esther Esteban Garcia , head of physiotherapy, presented during the annual meeting of FIFA Medical Centres of Excellence , research on the development of a rehabilitation protocol for ACL injuries, currently being developed in cooperation with the FC Barcelona Scientific Medical Centre. The project focuses on enhancing the mental and cognitive capacities of injured players using advanced technologies, aiming to evaluate the positive impact of these methods on recovery and enabling athletes to return to competition in the shortest possible time.
Philippe chomier, head of rehabilitation and performance, presented our latest research in collaboration with the University of Birmingham about VO2 max profiles in elite players within the UAE Pro league.
